The contributors

335 people have been contributors to the Foundation.

All of these people were members of the Teacher Group, when they decided to sign the deed of gift and thereby give their contribution to the Foundation.

The contributors make up a diverse group. Their contributions vary a lot - some have worked in the same line of work throughout the years, other have looked for variation in life and have therefore tried out different positions with subsequently different incomes. Some have put their main effort into volunteer work and have besides this earned their living in a more scanty way. Some have moved abroad and would maybe have liked to continue their contribution but have not been able to. More variations could be mentioned, but let us look at three concrete examples.

What is the Teacher Group?
The Teacher Group is the designation for a group of people, where each of the individuals has decided they would like to be part of an organized community. The common basis for the Teacher Group consists of three shared principles: joint time, joint economy, and joint distribution of work. The Teacher Group is a way to live one's private life. It is not a legal body, it is not an organization, association, foundation, institution, or in that sense anything for which there exists a category... It is a unique formation of people who give each other a handshake on sticking together in thick and thin - some for an indefinite period of time, others for an agreed period of for example two or five years.

The Teacher Group was created in 1970 by a small group of teachers in Denmark. Today there are many hundreds of people in the Teacher Group all over the world.
